More and more artists and music acts have been coming through Motown to play for us that were starting to think we might actually be a bit of a music center. Heres what acts are coming to Morgantown this fall.
Brad Paisley is making a pitstop at West Virginia University Friday, September 9th for a concert in the Brown Parking Lot of the West Virginia University Law School. The best part? The concert is free! Paisley is a West Virginia native so hes coming home to celebrate the Mountaineers. His song Country Nation even name-drops the Mountaineers! We cant wait to see fellow West Virginian Brad Paisley perform.
Were sure that by now youve heard the song Wagon Wheel. You might not know that it was made famous by Old Crow Medicine Show. Theyre coming to West Virginia Universitys Creative Arts Center for a show on Tuesday, September 13th and tickets are only $23 for WVU students.
September 30th brings with it Sammy Adams and C-Trox for a stop on the Long Way Tour. Theyll be performing at Mainstage Morgantown which is only a 6 minute drive away from Pierpont Place. Get your $20 tickets from Mainstage Morgantown here.

The eight member performance group uses everything but actual percussion instruments to create their music.
